Applications Open for Very Small Businesses to Receive PPP Loans

By Margaret Allen
In an effort to reach the smallest businesses, applications are being accepted for the Paycheck Protection Program specifically from businesses with fewer than 20 employees and sole proprietors through next Tuesday March 9th. Eligible businesses can get the loans to keep their workers employed during the pandemic and may also be able to get forgiveness on the funds borrowed. This limited application time for businesses with less than 20 employees is open for first draw and second draw PPP loans. More information, including getting matched with a lender, is available online at sba.gov.
