GHP Seeking Donations for Downtown Revitalization Plan

By Sam Miller
The Greater Honesdale Partnership is accepting donations for its Downtown Revitalization Plan. Money raised via donation will be going towards matches for federal, state, and local grants. The project is estimated to cost $9 million over the course of six years, with the majority of the funding coming from grants. Donations can be made online at WayneFoundation.org. The project has numerous goals, including improving infrastructure on Main Street, adding a new parking complex, and creating a new Riverfront Park that connect walking trails to Main Street. The complete plan can be viewed on the Honesdale Borough website under public announcements here; http://honesdaleborough.com/hats-new/public-announcements/
