Greentown Man Sentenced for Multiple DUI, Exposing Himself

A Greentown man has been sentenced in Pike County for a slew of charges including DUI and Assault. 52 year old Slawomir Zaba will spend 6 months to 2 year in jail for a series of incidents between September 2018 and May 2019. In September of 2018 troopers responded to Route 6 in Palmyra Township where Zaba was driving erratically. Troopers detected the smell of alcohol on Zaba’s breath and saw empty beer cans in the back of the vehicle. Zaba admitted to drinking and driving, and his BAC was determined to be .151%. In December 2018, troopers responded to a crash on Route 380 where Zaba had crashed his vehicle. Officers found a partly consumed bottle of vodka. Zaba resisted officers and attacked an EMS worker, injuring them. In the final incident in May 2019, Zaba was outside a residence in Greene Township where he was shouting at an individual and exposed his genitals. In addition to the jail time, he was fined $1,850 and will spend 3 years on probation.
