Legislators Call for Mass Vaccination Clinics in NEPA
Local, state, and federal legislators are calling for mass vaccination clinics in NEPA. Seventeen legislators, including Congressman for the 8th District Matt Cartwright, State Senator Lisa Baker, and State Representatives Rosemary Brown, Jonathan Fritz, and Michael Pfiefer all signed on to a letter to Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency director David Padfield. The letter encourages the establishment of mass vaccination centers, citing recent reports of the current frustrations with the slow and issue-ridden distribution. The Pike County Commissioners issued a statement of their support behind this letter, touting the two recent test-runs of mass vaccination clinics in the County.
