Meet the Candidates Night in Wayne County

An opportunity to meet local candidates in Wayne County is coming up tomorrow evening. The Wayne County Republican Committee is having a bipartisan Meet and Greet Candidate Night at the Ladore Performing Arts & Recreation Center (PARC) Pavilion in Waymart. Many positions are up for election in Wayne County this year including a second Judge in the Court of Common Pleas, the three Magisterial District Justices, and Wayne County Sheriff. Additionally, statewide judicial positions on the ballot will be Supreme Court and Superior Court as well as Commonwealth Court Judge. All candidates have been invited to the event and Committee Chairman Steve Adams encourages all registered voters to attend. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served. Due to COVID restrictions there is a seating limit of 200. The event will also be live streamed on the committee’s Facebook page: Wayne County PA Republican Committee and a video will be available at a later date on the Committee's website. The Ladore Performing Arts & Recreation Center (PARC) Pavilion is at 287 Owego Turnpike, Waymart, use the Owego entrance.

Mail-in & Absentee Ballots are available upon request or you can apply online at VotesPA.com. Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm on Election Day. If you are voting in Pennsylvania for the first time or if you are voting at a new polling place, you must bring photo or non-photo ID.
