National Library Week Starts Monday

By Sam Miller
This Monday is the start of National Library Week, and the Wayne County Libraries are celebrating with a week of activities. Monday kicks off the Book Treasure Hunt. Cards featuring the covers of books have been scattered across Honesdale. Any child that finds a card can return it to the Wayne County Public Library and receive a copy of the book. Other events include Library Appreciation Day on Tuesday where patrons can stop into their Library and share their favorite memories, Throwback Thursday for a history lesson on the WCPL and its building, and Patron Appreciation Day on Friday and Saturday.
