National Weather Service Warns of Brushfire Season

By Sam Miller
Spring weather is finally here and a welcome change of pace from a harsh winter, but the National Weather Service at Binghamton is reminding residents of the Poconos that it is also brush fire season. Humidity has been low, resulting in dry conditions, and winds have been high throughout much of March and into April. Use caution when handling any potential ignition source including machinery, cigarettes, and matches.
