New Director at Tobyhanna State Park

By Sam Miller
A new Director has been appointed to the Tobyhanna State Park Complex. Lee Dillion, former manager of Mount Pisgah State Park, Bradford County, will now oversee the complex based in Wayne and Monroe Counties. Stationed in Tobyhanna at Tobyhanna State Park, Dillion will manage its 5,440 acres in Monroe and Wayne counties, as well as the 170-acre Tobyhanna Lake. The complex manager also will oversee 2,800 acres and the 250-acre Gouldsboro Lake in Gouldsboro State Park, also in Monroe and Wayne counties. The complex also includes Big Pocono State Park, Monroe County. That park consists of 1,306 acres of rugged terrain on the summit and tops of the downhill ski slopes of Camelback Mountain, where Camelback Mountain Resort maintains the facilities. The three-park complex encompasses more than 9,500 acres of land. Dillion replaces Steve Jones as manager of the Complex after Jones left state employment.
