No Injuries After Chain Collision in Wayne County

A chain collision in Wayne County resulted in no injuries. According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Honesdale, the crash occurred on the 5th on Route 6. 72 year old James Shaffer of Honesdale was driving when he stopped to avoid a deer in the road that had been hit by another car. 18 year old Sierra Smith of Forest City was driving behind Shaffer and also managed to come to a stop, however a third vehicle driven by 18 year old Isabella Zeiler of Lake Ariel did not manage to stop in time. Zeiler’s vehicle rear ended Smith’s, causing Smith to strike Shaffer. Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seatbelt, resulting in no injuries.
