PennDOT Releases Plan to Replace Bridge in Wayne County

Residents can comment on PennDOT’s proposed plan to replace a bridge in Wayne County. The bridge allowing Louie Drive to span Carley Brook in Honesdale Borough is set to be replaced. PennDOT plans to construct a temporary single-lane roadway to the north of the bridge so that residents continue to have access while the work is ongoing. The bridge was built in 1941 and is classified as being in poor condition. The plans can be found and commented on PennDOT’s website. The comment period is open through April 2nd and comments can be left here:
