Wally Wine Fest Returns

By Sam Miller
The annual Wally Wine Fest will be returning this weekend at Silver Birches. The weekend long event, April 9th through the 11th, will use the system of sit down wine and food tastings used last year to help spread out guests for social distancing. Three tasting periods are available each day. On April 9th a paired dinner will be held, with food provided by award winning authentic Thai guest chef Nok Suntaranon. There will also be wine available for purchase and a wine and cheese pairing seminar. Everyone who attends the festival at Silver Birches receives a commemorative wine glass. General admission is $50 per person. Designated drivers may attend for $25. A $195 platinum ticket includes the Taste of Thailand Dinner at The Settlers Inn on April 9. For $125, visitors may attend the Taste of Thailand Dinner only. Visit wallywinefest.com to purchase tickets.
