Wayne Memorial Planning Extra Vaccine Clinics, Including One Today

By Margaret Allen
Wayne Memorial is offering Pfizer vaccines this afternoon, March 30th from 12:30 to 3:30, at the hospital in Honesdale in the glass concourse. Pfizer is available to age 16 and over in the 1A category. Staff was able to draw more than expected from yesterday's vials and "extra" was procured.

If you know someone who is eligible and looking for a vaccine, let them know about this availability. Additionally, vaccination clinics are scheduled Wednesday in both Wayne and Pike Counties at the Pike County Training Center in Lords Valley and Wayne Memorial Hospital. These are first dose clinics. More than four thousand doses will be administered in Pike County with more clinics on Tuesday April 13th and Wednesdays April 21st and 28th. Wayne County has been allocated another 5,000 doses and clinics are set for Saturdays the 3rd, 17th, and 24th, and Fridays the 9th and 30th at the former Rusty Palmers building at the junction of Routes 6 & 652, east of Honesdale.
